I paid a visit to our local office and then walked around, basically going from Market Street to Pier 39 on foot. I may have missed a few things but I didn't want to see the city while sat in a bus going from one landmark to another.
Doing this I didn't get close to Lombard Street or the Golden Gate, but I got to see them anyway, even from a distance, and I don't regret my decision.

San Francisco felt incredibly relaxed. No doubt it's busier than Barcelona, but the amount of noise in the streets... Well I couldn't believe how silent it felt. I loved that.
Also, restaurants look and smell fantastic here.
