Day seventeen: visiting...

I was about to title this "Monterrey cont'd" but that title would apply to all other posts after that so I'll just leave it.

Today I went downtown with my sister to walk around and see stuff. Monterrey isn't really a nice city but from time to time you do get to see something interesting. plus they cleaned/built/reorganized quite a bit to welcome the Forum of World Cultures 2007, so it's not that bad.

These figures symbolize people from the artist's village who emigrated to the US. There are 2,501 statues. Every statue has a different face.
